Meet the Client

The Alsup family recently bought their dream property but still longed for their dream fruit and vegetable garden. While they loved the proximity to nature, with daily visits from deer, rabbits, and even sometimes the neighbor’s beloved dogs, they were worried that their efforts in gardening might be for not. That’s where we come in!

Our Solution

We met with the Alsups, toured the space, took measurements, and assessed the local flora, fauna, and land grading that might impact the design. We also discussed their goals of a walkway that was both functional and beautiful.

Once our design plans were drawn up, we crafted the enclosure, walkway, and raised beds you see today. The wood was sourced from local materials, and the raised beds were built with longevity in mind.

Our Favorite Feature

Especially challenging in this space was the grading and resloping process, which took multiple days. However, with our extra attention to detail early on, we were able to build the full enclosure quickly and efficiently. We were especially thrilled with the walkways, which really cultivated that inviting experience as you enter the garden.
